GSL Japan Hosts Its First Panel Discussion: The Future of Cell Culture
On August 4, 2026, Greenstaff Life Sciences Japan hosted its first panel discussion, “The Future of Cell Culture,” at its Tokyo office.
The panel featured Dr. Shinnosuke Tsuji, Chief Scientific Officer at reverSASP Therapeutics, and Mr. Masato Otake, R&D Team Leader at IntegriCulture. Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Global Head of GSL Japan, moderated the discussion.
The session examined the current state and future outlook of cell culture technology, as well as practical issues including evaluation and decision-making in research settings and the pace of development at biotech startups.
During the networking session, conversations continued around what motivates researchers, as well as practical challenges such as cell evaluation.
In their feedback, attendees highlighted the dedication researchers bring to their work. They also described hearing directly from researchers as a welcome reminder of what makes the field so compelling.
